Rooted in American heritage, American Leather was founded in 1990 by engineers with a passion for innovation and craftsmanship, and a determination to cut industry standard timelines in half. Believing that three months was too long to wait for a custom piece of furniture, they flew in Italian Master Craftsmen to personally train the AL artisans based on generations-old trade secrets. Not only were the founders successful in marrying speed and quality, but they effectively redefined the standard for American furniture craftsmanship.
